  • Type 2
    • This type changes to the same type of the last move the opponent hits you with. (same rule for Hidden Power, etc.) The type will not change if it uses a status move or misses its attacking move.
  • Type 3
    • This type changes depending on the conditions on the field.
    • If the following conditions are active:
      • If there is Harsh Sunlight or Desolate Land is active, it changes to the Fire type.
      • If there is Rain or Primordial Sea is active, it changes to the Water type.
      • If there is a Sandstorm, it changes to the Ground type.
      • If there is Hail, it changes to the Ice type.
      • If there is Tailwind or Delta Stream active, it changes to the Air type.
      • If there are Spikes on your side of the field, it changes to the Steel type.
      • If there are Toxic Spikes on your side of the field, it changes to the Poison type.
      • If there are Flaming Spikes on your side of the field, it changes to the Fire type.
      • If there are Stealth Rocks on your side of the field, it changes to the Rock type.
      • If there is Electric Terrain on the field, it changes to the Electric type.
      • If there is Psychic Terrain on the field, it changes to the Psychic type.
      • If there is Grassy Terrain on the field, it changes to the Grass type.
      • If there is Misty Terrain on the field, it changes to the Magic type.
      • If there is Sonic Terrain on the field, it changes to the Sound type.
